Homegrown ghost peppers. That's the not-so-secret secret to our best-selling bourbon barrel-aged pepper sauce, which originated with our family-friend Dave Lemieux, who had begun experimenting with barrel-aged pepper sauce as a hobby, giving bottles to family and friends, including Ed. The hot sauce was an immediate hit in the Van Winkle house, and with a little help from Dave and his family, who now grow small-batch ghost peppers full-time in West Central Georgia, it became one of our first Pappy + Company pantry staples. Blended with mild red peppers, the ghost pepper mash is aged in Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels, resulting in a rich, smoky, oaky heat that adds just the right kick to everything from breakfast sandwiches to collard greens.

Processing Time:
All orders are processed within 2–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped.

Local Pickup (if applicable):
Local pickup may be available for Cleveland-area customers. You’ll receive an email with pickup instructions once your order is ready.
Order Tracking:
Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update.
Damaged or Lost Packages:
If your order arrives damaged or appears to be lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at [your email address]. We’ll work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue promptly.
Return & Exchange Policy
Eligibility:
We accept returns on most non-perishable merchandise within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Due to the nature of certain products and events:
Tasting event tickets and perishable items (such as open food or beverage items) are non-refundable.
Merchandise (such as glassware, apparel, or accessories) may be exchanged or refunded if defective or damaged upon arrival.
How to Start a Return:
To initiate a return, email us at Samantha@wineandwhiskeycle.com with your order number and reason for return. Once approved, you’ll receive instructions and a return shipping address.
Refunds:
Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a damaged product.
